Zero Barriers Training and Entrepreneurship Center

Construction and equipping of a new 5,000 SF facility for culinary job training programs, a culinary business incubator, catering services, and a community café.  La Cocina VA’s services provide low-income people who are predominantly Latino with training that allows them to build careers in the food service industry.  With this project, La Cocina VA has been able to triple the number of people it serves, launch new programs, and build new revenue streams. 

Financing closed: $1.125 million in CDFI debt
